    Description

    DescriptionAxilieva 5 mg contains Axitinib, a potent and selective tyrosine kinase inhibitor that acts on VEGFR-1, VEGFR-2, and VEGFR-3. It works by blocking the signals that promote tumor angiogenesis (formation of new blood vessels). By reducing blood supply to the tumor, Axitinib helps: Slow tumor growth Reduce spread Improve progression-free survival It is mainly used when previous cancer treatments have not been effective.
    UsesAxilieva (Axitinib) is prescribed for: 1. Advanced Renal Cell Carcinoma (RCC) Used as second-line therapy after failure of earlier treatments such as: Sunitinib Bevacizumab + Interferon Temsirolimus Cytokine therapy 2. First-line therapy Sometimes used in combination with immune checkpoint inhibitors (doctor’s decision).
